Scam artists. My basement flooded due to the recent storm and my insurance company (Allstate) sent this restoration company out to do water cleanup and flooring tear out. They charged Allstate $4,800 out of my insurance payout for the work they did (even though they were only at my house about 3 hours). That amount didn't feel right, and after battling with them and Allstate, I later found out they only did $1,500 worth of labor and lied about what they actually did (square footage, type of flooring, etc.). My max insurance payout for water damage was $5,000 so they figured they could take advantage by charging whatever number they felt like as long as it was on or near that threshold. They have probably done this to several people and this is classic insurance fraud, exploiting people and insurance companies in a time of need. Be careful with these companies folks!

They did a great job here in the recent storm. Everyone that I worked with did an excellent job, starting w/ Jason (cant remember all the names) and I'd recommend them. They played well w/ insurance also which is nice.

The _only_ downside is that they accidentally walked off w/ a nice extension cord, but they are working w/ me on getting that back. Once I get it, I'll bump this up to 5 stars.

If I could leave 0 I would. This company wasn’t chosen by me first off it was chosen by Acuserve a third party company contacted by Allstate insurance. I called Allstate around 3:30am on 07/23/24 and was connected to Accuserve who told me that they guaranteed someone would be sent out within 4 hours. They placed me on hold contacted this company that is supposed to be 24 hours by the way. They told me that no one answered and someone from the company would be calling me no later than 8am and to give them a call back if they didn’t. I called Accuserve as soon I woke up later that morning and someone from this company finally called after 10am. The guy scheduled an appointment for 12:30pm which didn’t seem like it was being treated as an emergency to me. He met my husband at our newly built from the ground up home and didn’t extract any water,apply any treatment or dehumidify or dry out anything. Instead he assessed damages before doing any of that which should’ve been done first. Instead of immediately removing the water to prevent anymore damage or spreading of water he made yet another appointment for the following day at 10:30am to start working on pulling up carpet, lvp flooring,removing baseboards and drilling holes in the drywall all without providing the emergency services of removing the water and starting the drying process which should’ve been done then returning 24 hrs later to access damages to see what damage was done after the drying process began. Instead of any of that being done he calls my husband and tells him @ 8;00am 07/24/24 that the insurance claim agent hadn’t started the claim yet and we had to reschedule for the following day now at that point would’ve been well over 48 hours without the water being extracted dried out or treated. The claims adjuster got the claim started at 11am and when this company was contacted back they said they had already taken on other jobs. After calling Accusure trying to get someone else if this company couldn’t immediately start the process I received a call at 2:41pm from someone from the company when I told them that I was just going to have to get someone else they kept trying to explain their situation and Accuserve also backed them claiming there wasn’t anyone else that could come out until the following day. I told them that I had the right to find my own contractor and that I didn’t need their services as soon as I got off the phone with Accuserve I called an emergency water extraction company that did exactly what they advertised. They came out to our home immediately within 30 minutes and without asking too many questions or before getting any insurance information because they told me they would get that later. They did moisture readings,thermal readings, right in front of me showing me everything,extracted water,pulled the corners up on the carpet that had absorbed moist of the water at that point. Treated everything and plugged in dryer’s to dry out and dehumidify. They said that because the moisture readings weren’t that high the damage seemed minimal and that the damage was nowhere near what we had been told. They’re coming back to do their 24hr check and said that they may have to pull up a small amount of lvp flooring where the moisture reading was a little higher than the readings in the other areas but if they do have to do that they’re a one stop shop and they will take care of that too. Oh and they’re stretching the carpet back and stapling it and the carpet pad back as well. I had to force the insurance information on them because they weren’t going to get it until today. Bottom line I would’ve stopped the water from spreading which causes further damage,time off work and tons of stress if I would’ve found someone on our own and made the call to a company that treats water in the home like a real emergency that it is.
